Mum and I always went shopping together for clothes. She had good taste. She was always very respectable, smartly dressed and colour coordinated and took pride in her appearance. She was clean, neat, tidy and feminine. She went to the hairdressers almost every week right up until she was 89. She kept herself young. People often thought she was younger than she was. She was a real lady.
